Evolution of a Values Based Service Provider

Our Vision

The vision:

It all started in 1994 with a man, a truck, and a single thought: “I can do this”. And like all great things that come from hard work, perseverance, and a positive attitude, the thought turned in to an idea, and the idea turned in to a vision, and Allstate Fire Equipment was born.

The location:

Throughout the years, the company moved from a private home, to a P.O. Box, to a small office, to a larger industrial building, and finally arrived at our current location with over 20,000 square feet of office and warehouse space.

The fleet:

It would have been hard for anyone in 1994 to imagine that old blue chevy pickup truck would soon be joined by an assortment of vehicles of all shapes and sizes which over the years has included minivans, box trucks, forklifts, at least one SUV, and a sizable fleet of small and large pickup trucks and vans.

The people:

Some of the people have changed over the years, though many of them remain. We are proud to have the highest total years of industry experience found anywhere in our industry and region. We have hard working, capable, and caring men and women of all ages and from different cultures. We often use the word “employees” or “team” to describe what is really our “work family”... a strong group of individuals that share certain values and beliefs, working together at a job and in an industry where every person can and does feel like they make a difference in both our company and also in society.

Evolution of a Website

In the same way that our company, logo, and location have changed throughout the years our website has also undergone numerous changes. It all started two decades ago with a small handful of pages and a few thousand words (at most).

Today our website has many dozens of pages with hundreds of links to resources and valuable information, hundreds of photos, and an encyclopedia of knowledge to answer all your questions about fire and life safety.

As we pause and reflect on this time, we realize that in those “good old days”, this information was only visible to a handful of people using a personal computer and connected to that relatively small global network which everyone was calling the internet.

Today, the same valuable information is visible and available to billions of people in hundreds of countries using many different devices and technologies. As we proudly launch our current site, we already are thinking of the next feature, the next web page, the next section, and the next great idea that will make our site more informative and more useful to every website visitor.
